Should I stay or should I go

I'm considering going to Tromsø in the Northern part of Norway. For some reason I'm drawn to windy, rural places where I can think and knit for days - I tend to tune in on the genuine me; fancy clothing, politics, religion, worries about next week seem to mean nothing when you sit on a rock in the middle of nowhere. And I love it! I'll go look for a bag of money now.....

Loui got his cardi

I finished this baby cardigan - size 1-4 months - in about two weeks time. Sewing the sleeves weren't too much fun but everything else was, so all in all I was pleased with the process as well as the end result. And Loui's parents appreciated my gifts a lot. Then, there's only one thing left to hope for - that Loui himself will like it too :)

Dpn size 3.0 mm, Arwetta and Regia Silk - random stripes.

Baby Cardigan

This baby cardigan is really lovely to knit. Against all odds. There are a billion ends to weave in but still I'm very much enjoying this project. Last Saturday I spent the whole day knitting, from the minute I got up til noon, I sat in our sofa knitting, knitting, knitting. Then Tina and Marianne picked me up, and the three of us went to Ebeltoft (such a wonderful place, I'll probably buy a house there, when I get old and have all the time in the world to knit some more) to visit Ruth, who had invited whoever wanted to come knit at her place. I think there were 10 or 11 of us; we chatted, knitted, enjoyed cake with whipped cream (yum), and time flew by. And before we knew it, we were on our way back to Aarhus. Saturday, the weather was warm, sunny and the garden appeared fresh and green, so I went straight to our terrasse when I came back - and continued knitting. I simply love days like that.

I'm really doing my best to destash a bit, and so far it's going rather well.

Mogens gave me this basket not long ago - much appreciated! :)
